The buried alive people would often appear to be dead because they'd drink large amounts of ale in pewter cups, which i guess is a chemical combination that could cause you to go unconscious for several days before waking up as if nothing had happened. originally families would just lay the husband on the kitchen table and eat around him if this occurred at the bar, but then if it turned out he really was dead, they'd bury him with the nifty bell coffin. then they would hire someone to watch over the graveyard all night listening for any bell chimes, and if they did, they'd obviously rush to dig the coffin back up. as this occurred more and more, it became to be known as "saved by the bell" -- and the saying has stuck all these years.

Is Microsoft giving (selling!!!!) address information ??????

One of my friends started a company and I registered a free website with Microsoft Office Live. Well turns out its not so free after all. Today I got a mail (snail mail) from Capital One for a business credit card for a small business owner.

The mail was addressed to the company name and my address.

Now the only place where I gave both the company name and my address was at the microsoft site when I signed up. So how did capital one get the info.

Here comes the best news. I cant unsubscribe or delete the site from the free service.

Maybe I didnt read the fine print where Microsoft (maybe) said that it would share information or maybe microsoft did not share the information. But it sure does leave bad taste in the mouth

Today read somewhere that "mesothelioma" is one of the highest paying adwords in adsense. Being a doctor's son ,was too curious not to lookup what "mesothelioma" meant.

So here's a gist of whatz given on wikipedia

Mesothelioma is a form of cancer that is almost always caused by previous exposure to asbestos.[1] In this disease, malignant cells develop in the mesothelium, a protective lining that covers most of the body's internal organs. Its most common site is the pleura (outer lining of the lungs and chest cavity), but it may also occur in the peritoneum (the lining of the abdominal cavity) or the pericardium (a sac that surrounds the heart).
Most people who develop mesothelioma have worked on jobs where they inhaled asbestos particles, or have been exposed to asbestos dust and fibre in other ways, such as by washing the clothes of a family member who worked with asbestos, or by home renovation using asbestos cement products. Unlike lung cancer, there is no association between mesothelioma and smoking

Insurance!!!

Today I got my insurance payment back since farmers concluded that i have too many insurance policies with them. Actually I wanted to cancel one home insurance and one auto insurance that I had with my current agent and get a new policy from a different agent. I tried different insurance companies like farmers , AAA, progressive and geico. Though progressive and geico gave me really good rates, it turned out AAA and farmers gave me the best possible rates. There was some trouble with AAA so I went with farmers.

WEll, farmers returned my check!!!. Anyway with my ford mustang down with engine problems turns out that its good that my auto insurance is also done. Atleast I dont pay anything.

The interesting part is that two agents of the same insurance comapny gave me such varied quotes.

How can one farmers agent give me a quote of 1200$ per year while another gives me $2114 per year. Perhaps I should hire a good litigation attorney and sue these guys for malpractise

98 Ford Mustang GT Convertible - pride of my life .So on the way to work today I hear a noise under the hood car stalls and check engine light comes on. I am like 'Oh Oh' time to call my insurance company's roadside assistance ..... Well my Good Ol Faithful mustang decides to save my day by coming back to life and survive until it reaches the auto service company.

So I come back google for the problem and here is what I found.

* Knocking sound under hood:
You hear a knocking sound under the hood, especially when accelerating.

Possible causes:
Engine knock due to gas octane rating too low: Use a fuel with a higher octane rating.

Air filter clogged: Replace the air filter.

Tune-up issue, such as timing set improperly: Check and reset timing as required.

Now to wait and see what the service guy says.
